Settings

Manage profile preferences, model access, billing, API keys, and connectors.

Open Settings from the sidebar gear icon.

Settings sections

SimPilot exposes up to four settings areas:
  • General (/settings)
  • Models (/settings/models)
  • Billing (/settings/billing)
  • Connectors (/settings/connectors) — shown when MCP integration is enabled

General

General settings cover personal profile and runtime preferences:
  • Display name and organization
  • Experience level and use case defaults
  • Default chat model, temperature, and thinking level
  • Browser notification preferences
  • Tutorial reset
  • Account deletion controls

API keys

General settings also include personal API key management:
  • Generate a new key
  • Copy key at creation time
  • View masked prefix metadata
  • Revoke existing key
API key handling
API keys grant account-scoped access. Store them securely and rotate immediately if exposed.

Memory

Toggle cross-session memory on or off. When enabled, the agent remembers your preferences and patterns across conversations.

Model preferences

Choose your preferred AI model and configure model-specific settings.

Models

The models page is a searchable catalog of available models and capabilities (reasoning, tool use, vision, PDF support). Plan tier controls whether all models are available.

Billing

Billing shows:
  • Active plan and plan limits
  • Monthly usage meters (messages, simulations, storage, API spend)
  • Upgrade flow via Stripe Checkout
  • Payment method management via Stripe customer portal

Connectors

Connector settings manage MCP integrations:
  • Add or configure connectors
  • Authorize OAuth-backed connectors
  • Restrict tool allowlists
  • Enable/disable connectors for use in chat
See MCP Connectors for connector behavior in conversations.
